Group Class Schedule

The following is an outline of our group dance classes at the Village Health Club as well as the schedule.

1.) "What type of dance classes are these?"

These are group dance classes where you do not need a partner necessarily. The topic is Salsa since that is a dance you can go out to practice nearly any night of the week, although we may choose to teach some other fun dances like swing, cha-cha and tango every so often.

2.) "How many dance classes are there?"

There is one class per week at each location and your month pass entitles you to take your month at either location for a total of 4 dance classes for the month. Once you start the group class at a particular location we recommend you stay with that class because the others might be doing some different material.

3.) "Does this pass give me access to the club as well?"

No, the pass only is for the dance classes and Village membership is not included. However, there will be staff available to discuss with you whatever promotions or current offerings in that area exist at the time.

4.) "What if I want to learn something else like Tango?"

We teach private lessons (2-4 people) that can be in anything you like. Private lessons are a great way to focus on the basics and get your own time with the instructor and go at your own pace, so if you are looking for something different to learn this is the recommended path.

Private lessons for non-Village members are at $80 for the hour.

5.) "What if I got my pass through a deal like LivingSocial or Groupon? "

The coupon voucher entitles you to a month pass just like regular but for a discount, so the same rules apply. It has an expiration date but once you buy it you can jump in on any dance class until that date. That said, you must sign up at the beginning of the dance class (i.e. you cannot come in the middle of the month and go to the middle of the next month). The reason for this is because material is structured incrementally and we need to keep everyone on the same page.

6.) "How do I register or sign up?"

You can call us at 602-327-6680 to register for the class. If you have paid for a coupon, please call us at this number and we will sign you up for a class at a convenient location. If you haven't bought a coupon deal and just want to take the class, you can sign up directly with the club of your choice by asking them about the salsa dance classes at the front desk and they can register you for it. Once you show up to the first class we will charge you for the month and sign you in.

7.) "When are the classes held?"

Class times for Camelback are Fridays 7pm-8pm and Sundays at 3-4pm.

Class times for Gainey Village are Saturdays 1-2pm and 2-3pm.
